Post 2-Why did i choose chemistry and pharmacy?

When I was in the first year of high school, I wanted to study medicine, because I liked everything that had to do with blood haha. My parents wanted me to study medicine, since this way I would have a good time in life and be happy doing what I like. In addition, I have many relatives who follow health careers, so several encouraged my dream of studying medicine.

As I grew older, I realized that I had never liked medicine, but that my passion was the laboratory, all this was encouraged by my uncle who is an industrial chemist, Pablo, He had a girlfriend who studies the same, so they encouraged me to continue looking for careers around chemistry.



When I left school and took the test, I realized that the score was not enough to enter to study medicine, but something related to chemistry, my parents were sad, because they always wanted me to study medicine, but I managed to get into chemistry and pharmacy because of my score ... and it was the best decision of my life

It was difficult for them to accept my change, but they ended up giving me their support, and I fell even more in love with the race.

The laboratories, the bouquets, the faculty, the people, everything was beautiful.

My experience at the university has been different each year, but I always get to the same thing, I would not change this career for anything in the world!

    Hello Francisca, how beautiful is your story, it is moving how you decided to study your career and how you fell in love with it, my mother also encouraged me to study a health career but I clearly did not choose it jaja

My career is developed in different areas, each of them as important as the other, as well as in hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, industries, etc. In this context of a pandemic, my career can shine a lot, since pharmaceutical chemists are in charge of clinical studies of vaccines against the SARS-CoVs-2 virus.
